What are the differences between 3000 & 4000?
The difference is the PSI (Pounds per Square Inch) of pressure when the system is in use. The Power Pro 3000 use 3000PSI and the Power Pro 4000 uses 4000PSI. The engines differ in brand, electric or manual, and the type of pump they use. Visit our products page to see more.
How do i troubleshoot problems?
Is the Power pro eco-friendly?
Our systems meet the OSHA requirements, meaning we do not use silica or other harsh chemicals as a grit option for our systems. Using recycled materials as grit in the sand blaster is healthier for the environment and for our employees to reduce health risks.
What surfaces can i use a power pro on?
Antique wood, regular wood, steel, brick, cement, industrial equipment, you name it! If you’re really not sure about a surface you’re working with, feel free to give our customer service line a call at 1-866-588-9361.
What types of grit can be used in a power pro?
Recycled glass beads, and dry sand are the most common. If you’re unsure about a grit you want to use, call 1-800-845-4141.
Does the power pro run hot or cold water?
Cold water is the only water that may be used in the system.
How do I change a tip and nozzle?
Never change nozzle/tip while engine is running and relieve pressure from pump by squeezing trigger. Never change spray tips while spraying. Make sure the trigger lock safety is ON. Pull back on collar, pull spray tip off. Select desired spray tip. Pull back on collar, insert new spray tip and release collar.
How do I adjust the pressure?
Turning the dial on the side of the sand box allows more sand to flow, to adjust pressure on the pump there is a knob on the pump you turn. Review the owner’s manual for more information.
